WebCreek is currently seeking a skilled Process Mapping Specialist with 5+ years of experience in process mapping and workflow optimization, particularly in the construction or service-related industries. This position is remote, with occasional travel required to project sites and the company headquarters. The ideal candidate excels in translating technical operations into clear, actionable process maps that reduce complexity, increase efficiency, and align with business goals.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including pool builders, maintenance teams, and service providers, to document and design optimized business processes.
- Conduct detailed interviews and gather information to map workflows for construction, maintenance, and repair services.
- Create and present process maps using tools like Figma (preferred) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze current processes to streamline workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance, particularly in areas involving permits and equipment management.
- Assist in developing actionable recommendations based on analysis that drive productivity and reduce duplication.
- Travel to project sites and company headquarters to observe processes firsthand and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, providing clear insights for improving processes.
What You Have
- 5+ years of experience in process mapping and workflow optimization, particularly in construction or service-related industries.
- Strong interviewing skills to gather information from field workers, technical staff, final users and management.
- Proficiency in using process mapping tools like Figma (preferred) to create detailed visual workflows.
- Experience working with various trades (plumbing, electrical, etc.) and a deep understanding of the construction process, including permits and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to project sites and company headquarters, including locations such as Minneapolis.
- Candidates must have a valid work permit.
