What You’ll Do
- Review business and functional requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases
- Execute manual testing for web and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools
- Perform functional, regression and integration testing
- Validate bug fixes and ensure issue resolution before release
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA estimations
- Support client-facing UAT cycles and release validations
- Ensure high-quality releases and minimize production defects before deployment
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in manual software testing
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience writing structured test cases and executing test plans
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect tracking systems
- Experience testing web-based applications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience testing desktop and mobile applications
- Basic knowledge of APIs and Postman
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation
- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Experience documenting formal test evidence and test reports
- Interest in expanding into automation testing over time
